Un poco m\u00e1s abajo, en un cerro menos alto, hay una campana roja y pesada. La campana que el pueblo oy\u00f3 tocar una sola y fatal vez. Cuentan que cuando el badajo choc\u00f3 con las gruesas paredes met\u00e1licas, de dentro de la campana sali\u00f3 un ej\u00e9rcito de abejas que m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido que el dalang-dalang, llen\u00f3 las orejas de los congregados, los hizo precipitarse cerro abajo, y se llev\u00f3 muchas vidas con sus aguijones envenenados. En Tlayacapan se escuchan historias as\u00ed. Es un pueblo que se recorre en una hora a pie, pero que tiene m\u00e1s de veinticinco capillas, cada una con su santo y su d\u00eda instituido para celebrarlo. Las puertas de las casitas est\u00e1n abiertas todo el d\u00eda, invit\u00e1ndote a mirar dentro. Los perros ladran a cualquier hora; y lo mismo pasa con los gallos, mentira que canten s\u00f3lo al amanecer. La gente comienza a saludarte con familiaridad a los dos d\u00edas. Caminando por sus callecitas de piedra, puedes encontrarte con seis o siete vacas que vuelven de pastar, acompa\u00f1adas del campesino y su callado. Por all\u00e1, un hombre con sombrero que cepilla a su caballo frente al mercado de verduras. Otros dos m\u00e1s adelante, que beben cervezas en el banco de concreto fuera del dep\u00f3sito. Una se\u00f1ora que cruza la calle ac\u00e1 enfrente, con el pelo gris recogido en dos trenzas sobre la cabeza, las dos bolsas llenas y los pasos cortos y firmes. Del otro lado, el chico que cruza la plaza en bicicleta, con esa canasta enorme sobre la cabeza, vac\u00eda ya del pan que dos veces por d\u00eda sale a repartir. Arriba el sol baja. Las paredes blancas de las casas y los ni\u00f1os que corren tras la pelota, se encienden en rojos y anaranjados; y el aleteo de los p\u00e1jaros en los \u00e1rboles hacen creer que se ha soltado un aguacero en el cielo despejado. Tlayacapan es uno de esos lugares donde es bueno a veces quedarse callado. Quedarse quieto. Y escuchar. \/\/ Thania Z.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of its possible meanings in n\u00e1huatl is &#8222;the nose of the earth&#8220; and such nose may be seen in the pronounced hump on the Cerro del Sombrerito. Down below, on a lower cliff, there\u2019s a red heavy bell. The bell that the town heard tolling one fatal time. They say that when the clapper hit the metal body, an army of bees came out from within, faster than a din don, attacked the congregation at the ears, caused it to flee down the mountain and took many lives with the venom in the stings. These are the stories you hear in Tlayacapan. The town can be crossed in an hour on foot, but it has twenty-five chapels, each with its saint, each with its deputed day for celebrations. The doors of the homes are always open, inviting to look inside. Dogs howl continuously; the same for cocks, not true that they only sing at dawn. People wave neighbourly after two days. Walking down the cobblestone streets one may encounter six or seven cows accompanied by the farmer and his silence. Nearby, a man with a hat brushes a horse in front of the vegetables market. Down the road, another two men drink beer sitting on a concrete bench in front of the warehouse. A lady crosses the street, her gray hair shorn in two braids on the head, her two bags full, her pace short and steady. On the other side, the lad who crosses the square on his bycicle with this enormous basket on his head, already empty of the bread he delivers twice a day. Above the sun comes down. The whitewashed walls of the houses and the children running after a ball light up of reds and oranges; and the fluttering of the wings of the birds in the trees sounds as if a rainshower were being released from the clear sky. Tlayacapan is one of those places where, at times, it is good to stop silent. Settle down. And listen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Uno dei suoi possibili nomi in n\u00e1huatl \u00e8 &#8222;naso della terra&#8220;; e il naso lo si pu\u00f2 vedere nella gobba pronunciata del Cerro del Sombrerito. Un poco pi\u00f9 in basso, in cima ad un monte meno alto, c\u2019\u00e8 una pesante campana rossa. La campana che il paese ud\u00ec suonare una sola fatale volta. Quando il batacchio colp\u00ec le grosse pareti metalliche, ne usc\u00ec un esercito di api che, pi\u00f9 veloce di un ding-dong, assal\u00ec i congregati alle orecchie, li fece scappare a valle e si port\u00f2 via molte vite con i pungiglioni avvelenati. Ci sono pi\u00f9 di venticinque cappelle, ciascuna con il suo santo, ciascuno con il giorno istituito per celebrarlo. I cani latrano a qualsiasi ora; lo stesso i galli, non \u00e8 vero che cantano solo all\u2019alba. Camminando sulle strade di ciottoli si incontrano sei o sette mucche di ritorno dal pascolo, accompagnate dal pastore e dal suo silenzio. L\u00ec vicino, un uomo col cappello spazzola il suo cavallo davanti al mercato delle verdure. Altri due pi\u00f9 avanti bevono birra sulla panchina di cemento fuori dal magazzino. Una signora attraversa la strada con i capelli grigi raccolti in due trecce sulla testa, le due borse piene, il passo breve e sicuro. Dall\u2019altra parte, il ragazzino che attraversa la piazza in bicicletta con questo enorme cesto in testa, gi\u00e0 vuoto del pane che esce a distribuire due volte al giorno. In alto, il sole tramonta. I muri bianchi delle case e i ragazzini che corrono dietro ad una palla si accendono di rossi e arancioni; e il batter d\u2019ali degli uccelli negli alberi fa credere ad un aquazzone liberatosi dal cielo limpido. Tlayacapan \u00e8 uno di quei luoghi dove, a volte, \u00e8 bene rimanere in silenzio. Tranquilli. The album, his third overall and the first new solo material for three full years, does not even try to be objective. Instead, it presents listeners with Maikko\u2019s feelings and the psychological turbulences resulting from a visit to the &#8222;Cerro del Sombrerito&#8220; in Mexico &#8211; a smallish and mysterious town with &#8222;twenty-five chapels, each with its saint, each with its deputed day for celebrations&#8220;, where &#8222;doors are always open&#8220; and &#8222;dogs howl continously&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Refined collage-techniques<br \/>\nMaikko has translated the general mood of bizarreness, sinister spirituality and freaked-out fairytales into pitched-down string melodies, electric pulsations, soft bell-soundings, slow impulse-drones and rhythmic microsound patterns. In just over half an hour, &#8222;Tlayacapan&#8220; creates a halucinatory and psychoacoustic effect second to none &#8211; a &#8222;Dark Ambient&#8220; work for fans of field recordings. Aus den urspr\u00fcnglichen Aufnahmen destillierte konkrete Sounds, Andeutungen und Klangschatten werden in einer Art Schnittstellenobjektivit\u00e4t gedeutet und so zwischen innerer und \u00e4u\u00dferer Wirklichkeit verstrichen.
