This track has been recorded at Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur during march 2012.
The place is the largest ecological reserve of Buenos Aires, located on the south coast of Argentine’s capital city. It’s a quite interesting place to record because of the particular mix between “nature” and urban sounds.
Here the (poly)rhythm of insect+birds’ sounds can reach some hypnotic points. The city sounds coming at some distance from the downtown make it all even stranger.
Reserva Ecológica is in fact geographically and sonically the edge of the city.
