Time Traveller’s News – 0741AAArtefact: assembled July 2741 especially for collection of aMt museum of time-suspended sound-artefacts. All original sounds were recorded “as it is – was” listened during sequence alfa00 821 – 966 TTNews (year 2025), documenting additionally environmental changes in the area of focussed interest (Soundctuary Cappaduff, Eastern Clare, Atlantic side of Ireland). Historical context: In Ireland, the ** Angelus was a Catholic devotion, traditionally recited three times a day, that commemorates the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariæ. The Angelus commemorates the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive Jesus. It’s known for the ringing of bells (often associated with RTÉ broadcasts, Ireland) and the recitation of three Hail Marys, interspersed with verses. The Angelus bell sequence is 3 sets of 3 rings followed by a final sequence of 9 rings. This pattern is often accompanied by the recitation of the Angelus prayer, which includes three Hail Marys and a concluding prayer.
