Time Traveller’s News – 0741AAArtefact: assembled July 2741 especially for collection of aMt museum of time-suspended sound-artefacts. All original sounds were recorded “as it is – was” listened during sequence alfa00 821 – 966 TTNews (year 2025), documenting additionally environmental changes in the area of focussed interest (Soundctuary Cappaduff, Eastern Clare, Atlantic side of Ireland). Composition constructed by technique of cut-up-collage by Slavek Kwi (humanoid avatar of 00), there is no overdubbing or after-mixing – all recorded alive orig.

Historical context: In Ireland, the ** Angelus was a Catholic devotion, traditionally recited three times a day, that commemorates the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariæ. The Angelus commemorates the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive Jesus. It’s known for the ringing of bells (often associated with RTÉ broadcasts, Ireland) and the recitation of three Hail Marys, interspersed with verses. The Angelus bell sequence is 3 sets of 3 rings followed by a final sequence of 9 rings. This pattern is often accompanied by the recitation of the Angelus prayer, which includes three Hail Marys and a concluding prayer. Mit ARTIFICIAL MEMORY TRACE presents AAA rtefact: Angelus Phenomena I. (GrDl 233, DL) gibt es ein Wiederhören mit Slavek Kwi. Der Tscheche, der in seinen belgischen Jahren bekannt wurde, lebt seit einem Vierteljahrhundert in Irland und betreibt weiterhin seine Projekte alfa00 (=a telepathic broadcast station for time travelers’ news) und uni. SOL (=United Artists for Well-Being of Solar System). Hier erklingen, nach wie vor unter dem Motto “All soundlifeforms are welcome! No tonal racism!“, ein Roaratorio aus Feldaufnahmen und Cut-up-Collagen, die wieder um Chance Operation Games und Chro-Fi (Chronological Fidelity) kreisen. Mit dazu dem fragenden Untertitel: Sound Invasion? Propaganda of Ideology? Territorial Signals? Time perception manipulations? Und lokal um Cappaduff und Mountshannon am Lough Derg in Eastern Clare. Als ‚Soundtuary‘ (=a sanctuary for sound : ein Refugium für den Klang). Dabei als erzkatholischem Boden, der über viele Generationen akzentuiert wurde durch das dreimal tägliche Angelusläuten, während das namensgebende ‚Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariæ‘ aufgefächert wurde in morgens die marianische Antiphon ‚Regina caeli‘, mittags das Responsorium ‚Tenebrae factae sunt, dum crucifixissent Jesum Judaei‘ und abends dreimal das ‚Ave Maria‘. Vogelstimmen, summende Insekten, rauschende Verkehrs- und Regengeräusche und mono- tone Glockenschläge sind da mehr als nur Lokalkolorit, es sind die Zeit und diverse klingende Lebensformen, die dem Raum einwohnen und ihn beleben. Mit Einbrüchen von prasseligem Noise, dem Summen ‚himmlischer‘ Stimmen, wummriger Rhythmik, krabbeligem Saitenklang, pfeifenden Obertönen, diffuser Perkussion von fragil holzig bis von Ölfass gedongt oder als Pingpong. Schafe, Raben, Tauben. Fahrzeuge dopplern, ein Motorflugzeug quert. Die Glockenschläge durchwegs als huldreiche, als gnadenlose Dominante. Die Vögel als Ureinwohner. Der Regen womöglich ein elektronischer. Ein Motor wird angeworfen, bricht aber ab. Ist das Maultrommel? Beat bummt, Metall pingt, ein Hund wufft, Sound summt, Regen plätschert, Elektronik tuckert. Und immer wieder schlägt die Angelusglocke ihr deng deng deng.
