Bird & Renoult
DinahBird and Jean-Philippe Renoult are sound and radio artists based in Paris. They re-imagine and repurpose early communication technologies such as radio waves, tape recorders, antennas, transistors, ghetto-blasters, and undersea cables. They are interested in exploring the aesthetic, material and social aspects of transmission technology through electroacoustic compositions, sound installations, radio art, photography, and live performance. In 2016 they began Antenna Gods, a composite art project that investigates the otherwise inaudible radiowaves used in High Frequency Trading.
